The CNA training program is set up in three sections: On-line instruction, classroom/clinical instruction, and testing. This program will prepare you for work as a CNA in a skilled and acute care facility or home healthcare setting. The classroom/clinical instruction is offered at TrainND, with the clinical training at a local long term care facility.
Once you have completed the three training sections you are eligible to take the the North Dakota CNA exam. The state test is a two part test consisting of a computer based knowledge exam and practical skills exam. Student are allowed 30 minutes to complete the skills exam and 90 minutes to complete the 72-question computer based exam.
Exam fees are not included in the Certified Nursing Assistant Training Course Cost
The North Dakota State CNA testing is monitored by Headmaster and proctored at TrainND Northwest by an approved observer; applicants are required to complete an approved accredited training program before sitting for the state test.
Certified Nursing Assistant Cancellation Policy: Payment must be made in full to begin the online portion of the CNA Training Program. Once you have logged into your online account, the maximum refund you can receive is $460. In order to receive this refund you must cancel your registration from class more than two weeks prior to the in-person class start date.
Certified Nursing Assistant Transfer Policy: You may transfer from your current class into a future class more than two weeks prior to the in-person class start date.
Within two weeks of the in person class start date no transfers will be allowed and all registration fees will be forfeited.
