The student will learn the fundamentals of hazard analysis and safety-related control systems. In addition, comprehensive coverage of common robot accidents is presented as well as techniques for safe installation, maintenance, and operation of robots in a variety of industrial settings. This module also explores standard preventative maintenance techniques and the use of diagnostic systems in industrial robots.
